The 2002 collection was born from the original Squale 101 Atmos which was first released in the 1970s. It was during the 1970s that Squale created a unique diving collection and now the 2002 collection pays homage to the brands long history which spans over 60 years. The elegant design of this collection was crafted by the founder of Squale, Charles Von Büren. This collection combines the original 1970s aesthetic with modern day technology and materials.

Core features of the 2002 Collection:

•  All models within the 2002 collection are water resistant up to 1000m. 
• The watches in the 2002 collection all feature a push-to-release bezel system. The bezel can only be rotated once a light pressure has been applied.
• These watches feature a helium release valve on the side of the case, designed to release the gas and pressure that build up during deep-sea diving. 
• A date display window sits at the 3 o’clock position on the dial for optimal functionality.
• The dials on each of the models within this collection are also fitted with scratch resistant sapphire glass for ultimate durability.
• For clear timekeeping in the dark, this model is equipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova® on the indices and the hands of each model.
• Each model within this collection comes with a screw down crown.
