The Squale 1521 collection features classic diving watches that were born and successful in the 1970s. This collection has a history of over 40 years and is still considered a blueprint for the ideal diving watch. The founder of Squale, Charles von Büren, designed the 1521 collection with the intention of creating elegant yet robust watches that could meet the needs of professional divers.

• This collection features light and comfortable timepieces powered by automatic movements. 
• The case of each model measures 42mm and is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel. 
• For ultimate durability, scratch-resistant sapphire glass protects the dial of each watch.
• The watches in this collection are water-resistant up to 500 metres (5 bar). 

Model Specifications 1521MARINA.MIBK:

• This limited edition model is a partnership between Squale and the Italian Navy (Marina Militare). 
• The black brossè finished dial exhibits a mix of applied Super-LumiNova baton and dot indices and bold Super-LumiNova hands. The minute hand is orange. 
• A date aperture replaces the 3 o’clock position on the dial. 
• A black unidirectional bezel, with an aluminium insert, surrounds the dial. The first 15 minutes of the bezel are indicated in orange Super-LumiNova. 
• A brushed 316L stainless steel case, with polished bevels, frames the dial. 
• The screw-in case back features the Italian Navy logo and the watch's edition number. 
• This model is finished with a black microfiber strap with orange stitching and an orange underside. The lug width is 20mm and the strap fastens with a traditional buckle clasp. 
• An additional Squale-branded, natural rubber, black strap also comes with the watch.
