MeisterSinger was founded in 2001 and takes its name from a group of middle-class poets and singers from the 15th and 16th Centuries. The brand’s logo is a fermata, the symbol for rest in musical notation. MeisterSinger is heavily inspired by the first mechanical clocks of the Middle Ages as they only had one hand. During this period of history, people had no need for precise timing, so an idea of the time would suffice. By adopting this philosophy, the brand allows the wearer to focus on the quality of their time, rather than the quantity. • This limited-edition model is limited to only 250 pieces worldwide. The watch was created in collaboration with the WWF. For every watch sold, MeisterSinger and its business partners will waive an equal share of €250 to be donated as direct support to the WWF.  
• This Edition Best Friends model features a jet-black dial with a photorealistic image of the Earth.
• Likewise, the moon phase display on the upper half of the dial features a photorealistic image of the moon. The moon phase display is exceptionally precise and only requires a slight adjustment every 122 years. 
• The dial exhibits white double-digit Arabic indices to denote hours and baton indices to mark half-hour periods.
• The dial exhibits a single white hand.
• This watch also features a date display that replaces the 3 o'clock hour marker.
• The dial is protected by sapphire glass.
• This watch features an exhibition case back, allowing the wearer to observe and enjoy the movement. The glass is decorated with the WWF lettering and panda logo.
• Additionally, the watches are individually numbered and the unique number is engraved on the case back.
• A stainless steel case frames the dial. It measures 43mm in diameter and 13.5mm in height.
• This model is water-resistant up to 50 metres (5 bar).
• The watch is powered by an automatic Sellita SW220 movement with a power reserve of 38 hours.
• This model is finished with a brown strap that is made of vegan leather. It fastens with a pin buckle.
