Out Of Order Auto Collection Watches

Unique and ready for action, Out Of Order is an Italian-born watch brand that follows an interesting concept. Each piece is designed to appear worn and this is achieved through the brand’s patented ageing process. About Out Of Order Out Of Order was born in February 2013. One of the brand's founders, Riccardo Torrisi found himself facing the task of repairing an iconic and precious timepiece that had suffered damage after a fall. Despite limited resources, he had wanted to restore the watch to its former glory but instead began contemplating why watches couldn't embrace the same timeless allure as items like worn-in jeans or weathered leather jackets. Joining forces with two experts in the field, Claudio Dalla Mora and Dario Ceolotto, Riccardo embarked on a journey to create a distinct brand that combined the meticulous craftsmanship of high-end watches with their patented "Damaged in Italy" finish, which added a unique character to each timepiece. Out of Order Watches positions itself in the upscale market, offering a remarkable vision of vintage watches crafted with passion by skilled artisans and expert watchmakers. No two Out of Order Watches are alike, as the meticulous craftsmanship ensures that each piece is truly one-of-a- kind. Damaged in Italy The brand and the new project began in a garage, where they began testing ageing techniques to use on 316L stainless steel watch cases. The first prototype came in May 2013, a simple and reliable watch, created to appear as if it has been worn by time. From June to December of the same year, production and distribution began across Italy of their first ever collection. The following year led to the creation of two new collections, as well as two huge milestones for the brand. The first, being awarded the "Best Design Product of the Year" in Japan where they were given third place out of 100, and the second being given certification as 'Made in Italy' by the Customs and Monopolies Agency. From here the only way was up for the brand, the following years featured new ways of telling the brand story, new models, new collaborations, more awards and more recognition. Today the brand has stayed true to its original concept and continues to create new and original designs that fans around the world are falling in love with.
