The story of Henry London watches started when two young and successful fashion designers were searching for inspiration in one of London's vintage fashion districts. On a visit to the Portobello Road street market in Notting Hill one of the founders found an impeccably styled classic Swiss wristwatch with the words Henry, August 1965 engraved on the back. She loved the craftsmanship and quality of the watch and decided that she just had to wear it. She took the watch to show her partner later that day and he said that he just had to wear the watch too! They decided that if they were both going to wear the watch that they would need to recreate it themselves and thus Henry London was born. The Launch of Henry London The brand was officially launched at Baselworld 2015 by Peers Hardy, the distributor behind the Ice Watch, Daniel Wellington and Komono.
