Delma Brand History Delma was founded in 1924 by Adolf and Albert Gilomen in Lengnau, Switzerland. Originally under the name A. & A. Gilomen S.A., the brand’s name was changed to Delma in 1966. Delma saw many successes early on. They released their first chronograph in 1946 and their first automatic diver’s watch in 1969. Since then the brand has seen many successes in the field of both diving and racing watches. In 2016, Delma relaunched the Shell Star, their first professional diver’s watch. This revival showed the technological advancements the brand has reached and paved the way for Delma’s newest groundbreaking models.
